I’ve been absent from this blog for a long while, enjoying an unexpected “vacation” from prediabetes.
For almost two years, my Ha1C (an average of the body’s blood sugar levels) was under 5.7. Any number under 5.7 is considered normal; 5.7 – 6.4 is prediabetes.
My worry about high blood sugar – gone.
Since my numbers were good, test after test, I relaxed my eating and exercise routines. My favorite gym closed – so I stopped working out, especially working with weights. I watched my diet, but not consistently.
Now that the yellow warning light is blinking again, I aim to make changes in my habits. My hope is that I can again reach the happy zone of normal blood sugar.
Along the way, I’ll share motivation strategies, recipes, research, new gadgets, and ways to save money while watching blood sugar.
Whatever helps me, I’ll write about it. Maybe it will also help you.
Just linked over from Frugal Girl. Your blog looks interesting. I’ll look forward to your future posts.
Thanks – hope you get some good info!
